gas cap chain attach point

Where does the "safty clip" at the end of my new gas cap chain attach inside the filler neck? Don't see any holes, hoops or any other place to pin the chain.

It actually attaches to the screen insert...

So I take it I need a WO-649749 and they are like hens teeth?

Check with Midwest. I think they are also used on M37s
