I picked up a M38 which has been restored at some point. Since I have no idea when the fluids were last changed I figured I'd change them all. Engine and diffs are done. The transmission and transfer case are next. Has anybody heard of Millers Oils? Their GL 1 oil for vintage vehicles is tempting me.

Miller's Oils

Should I try it?

Thanks,
Justin

Why Not. These 60HP L134's do not push these 45 MPH jeeps hard enough to cause any serious damage from any legitimate off the shell oil or lube.

GL1 is the way to go with the transfer. I run 50 wt racing engine oil in my trannies in the jeep and my M37 here in the colder climate.

Thanks Wes. Your opinions are always valued.
As for price.... Don't know yet. I've found a distributor for the Millers products nearby. I've started using their fuel additive in my TR6. Their products seem to be geared towards specialty products wanted in the racing and vintage car sector

I see your location is Waterdown. I'm very interested if this source is local and there are a couple others in the area as well.

Millers Oils is distributed in Ontario by Comat Motorsports
They are located in Burlington. Cost is $10.95 a quart. A heck of a lot more $$ than NAPA 8O
