Clips for fuel line and loom

I'm restoring an m38a1, body off down to the frame. I have only one clip for the loom and a few fuel line clips. Does anybody know where I can get some like clips? I've checked every viable parts store in a hundred mile radius and they look at me like I'm from Mars when I say 1953 A1.

If they don't have it; it probably isn't made...
Thanks for the info

Thanks guys for the info. I gotta tell ya that Midwest military is something, a nice addition to the reference catalog. I've been mostly dealing with George at army jeep parts.
Here's a mystery. Now that I've got this thing cleaned up and painted and reassembling it, I ran into this chunk of cable (about 14" long) with a small ball on one end and five inches of 3/8 24 thread with two nuts on the other. The ball end goes into a bracket on the trans cross member and the other end goes thru a bracket on the back plate between the engine and trans.
I found out this thing is called an engine stay cable. I got my son in law to come over to help figure out what this thing is designed to do. He works for a outfit that maintains 850 HUMMVs. After considering all of the possibilities and not coming to any any reasonable conclusions, I hit the ORD 9 manuals to no avail, this is still a scratch on the head. I know what it is and know where it goes but what does it do other than hold two brackets together?

That cable is cheaper than a new radiator.

I don't think that is unreasonable.
Good luck on your restore, keep us in the loop. We love to help.

Thanks for clearing the mystery. It must work otherwise it wouldn't be there.
We don't drive our jeeps that hard, I just hope we never get to a point that we need it. That might be a bad day.

At some point on every jeep someone has to hit the brakes very hard. Street or off road!
The older and softer the mount rubber isolators the more they stretch and the further forward the engine can move during heavy deceleration.
