Hi,
Does anybody know what the story is with these carbs:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Willys-M38 ... 4897.l4275
Sure looks like a great price and I also don't have a core as my M38 came with a civilian carb.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Andy

If it is a foreign knockoff, you won't now till you get it weather it is US inch or Metric. The tag is odd in that it shows the US country code in the stock number (-00- or -01-) when it should show the code for the country that manufactured it. I sent Brent a message asking for more info.

The diffuser is needed in cold weather. The carb will perform adequately in warm weather without it.
I am guessing the copier either assembled it improperly or left out a little ball or something.
