I finished installing my RT70 radio

Post by Deadguy »

It works fine, and as I scroll through the channels. some seem to be a little more than static. Is anything still broadcast on these frequencies?

There really isn't much in that frequency range these days. Ham radio is 50-54MHz, but FM is not used much, and you would need to be close to whoever is transmitting.

The RT-70 was designed to have a range of about 1 mile. Short range tactical communications. Why such short range? The opposing forces have radios, too.
