M-38 / M-38A1 Vent & Fuel Lines

Post by OKCM38CDN »

I have figured out what the copper colored lines were made of for the vent lines and fuel lines...

It is NiCopp line material; the reason it is not used much anymore is its cost... $50 for a 25 ft roll of 3/16"...

My question is were the lines painted from the factory or left a copper color...

I am getting ready to run new vent, fuel and oil lines on a F-134 for my M-38A1 and am curious if I need to paint them before installation...

Thanks
