Hey guys I have got my windshield frame , but im gonna need some upper hinges but I am having a little trouble locating some. The windshield frame is off a 1966. The original lower ones are still on the jeep. Any suggestions on where to locate some.
Thanks

Thanks Chuck for replying, I have looked on there. I am not certain what the top hinge looks like. I thought it looked similar to the bottom, but the pictures are showing something different. I looked at my windshield and it looks as if its similar to the bottom, but after seeing those pictures im really not sure.

Did you look on pages 23, 24, 25, 26,
305,306, 317, of TM 9-8014 M38A1 Operator's Handbook? And page 41, 42, 238, & 239 of TM 9-8015-2 M38A1 Drivetrain, body and chassis Manual?
And when I googled "M38A1 windshield latch:

Edited M38 latch out and M38A1 latch in.

Are you wanting latches or hinges, I am confused.

Chuck,
Your not confused, I am. Lets try this again.

Lower windshield hinge

Upper windshield hinge.
Both manuals I mentioned above also show these . TM 9-8015-2 covers the replacement of the hinges in great detail on pages 241 thru 246.
If you do not yet have these manuals they are available free in PDF format right here on our web site's Downloads page.

Unless I'm off my nut that latch assembly above is for an early
CJ or M38 not an A1. It has the top screw at 90 degrees whereas
the A1 mount is flat across all three screw holes.
You have to watch the Internet and EBay carefully as I've seen the mixed up
often.

Thanks Wes,
Those are good photos of the A1 latches.
I almost pulled the trigger on a couple a while back because
because the seller had them misidentified.
Nice A1.

For the M38A1 windshield frame hinges (not the latches), the only manufacturer of reproductions is M.D. Juan that I am aware.
