All had left threads on left side and right threads on right side. An old leftover practice from the wagon wheel days where wheel rotation could often work the old nuts loose. The gradual change to tapered face lug nuts and dimpled and tapered wheel holes put an end to the loosening of the nuts. Doesn't hurt a bit to replace the LH threaded studs with RH threaded studs but I would suggest doing all to prevent mix & match and broken studs from the unsuspecting individual trying to hard to get one off the wrong way.

I once watched a guy at a tire shop with a 1/2" impact wrench break 3 studs off in a row on the my friend's M38 before I could run over and stop him. He had no idea what that "L" on the end of the stud stood for!
