Is there any difference between M38 and CJ3B/M606 fuel tank ?
except for the filler hole and sending unit ?

I need a new fuel tank strap set and getting tired of MD Juan's "super quality" parts

and I saw that Midwest have a repro for M38 Series.

I just installed a repro M38 tank and it wasn't too bad compared to all the stories I heard. Have an original that needs work I'd consider selling.

The M38 tank capacity is 13 gallons vs the 3B's 10.5 gallons. I wouldd imagine the larger M38 straps could be made to work.
