M 100 trailer repair
Hi Folks,
I've started working on the tub and frame of my M-100 trailer.
The two rear cross members are too bad of condition to save. I'm looking for replacements or suggestions on how to make some. The current cross members are 3 1/4 inch outside channel and 1/8 inch thick. So far all I've seen is 3 inch channel, outside. What I guess I need is 3 inch channel inside.

You always have the coolest projects, good luck with that trailer.
Lots of good metal working information from welding to metal shaping on:

and
http://www.metalmeet.com/
Seems I saw a thread on someone restoring an M100 on Metalmeet.
If you have to fabricate parts Jeep Draw probably has the dimensions.
Good luck,
Dave

Mine is in the same shape - started on it a few months ago. I talked with a local fab shop close to the house and they said they could bend the cross members for me and I could drill/cut the holes to save money. Was planning on buying an MD Jaun floor, but never got that far. Winter rolled around and the Denton show is closing fast, so I have put the trailer low on the list.
I DID get the rest of the running gear blasted, primed and painted before winter.

I found this while looking for a cross member for my M-100 trailer. Does anyone have any experience with this piece of hardware?
I plan to call them tomorrow to see if they have any more details or possibly a second row crossmember.
