I know there are a lot of experts for a lot of things on this forum and I need assistance with identification. I recently bought this toy at a flea market and cannot find any information about it. It has the appearance of a Bantam jeep and the Doughboy helmets look to place it to early 1940's.
It seems to be made of wood-chip type product and the only mark on it is a backwards 4 on the underside. It is 7 inches long and 3 inches tall. If anyone has any information about this please let me know.
Thanks,
Kendall

Kendall, What is the length of this one? Does it have JEEP on the front bumper?

Keats, thanks for that link. It appears there were two different sizes of this design made. After searching the cj3b page I found this- http://cj3b.info/Toys/BantamToys.html
Mine is the 7 1/2" long toy without Jeep on the front bumper made by the Wellmade Doll and Toy Co.
It is great to have additional information to go along with it.
