There is a metal tag on my front differential that is stamped with a W 43/8
The 43 is actually on top of the 8 with a line separating them.
Anyone know what the W and the numbers stand for?

43/8 are the theeth count. 43 on ring gear 8 on the small one giving a 5.38 ratio. No idea what the W mean.
