M38 Instrument Panel Guard
There is a guard plate (group 0607 in ORD9) to protect the instrument panel. On the left side of the guard plate is a small hole for a sheet metal screw to attach an isolated Douglas connector to stow the #85 cable from the ignition switch. Two things: what is the part number for this isolated connector. And does it mount on the lower or upper side of the plate. I have a jeep with the connector mounted on the lower side (too exposed?) rather than the upper (more protected? side of the instrument panel guard. Any comments?
