Ok Hood Number?

I'm looking to re-stencil my newly aquired M38. Unfortunately I don't know it's original hood number. I may find it one day when I repaint... However after reading various posts and learning that if 236XXXX was used on roughly the first 4000 M38's about Sep 50 thru Jan 51 and my serial number is MC10394 then going with a hood number of 2360394... should be okay, correct?
