transmission mount

Post by aforests »

It appears my rebuilt transmission is not going to mount up to the bracket on the frame. Which one is wrong, the bracket on the bottom of the transmission or the bracket on the frame mount?

Looks like bracket on transmission is wrong. But I'm no expert. Don't have my book here but my plate is thin and rectangular with long ends perpendicular to frame rails.
Yours looks like it is a curved plate.

The bracket on the bottom of the transmission is definitely not correct.
