Swapping parts from 2 different front axles

My 52 M38 has been in the hands of Bubba for many years before me. And one thing that was done is that the front axle has been replaced with an axle from another Willys. I only know this because the front brakes are not correct for the M38 like the rear is.
I have the proper axle as a spare but the tube on one side of the diff has been tubed and welded. I expect it cracked or got dented and putting a sleeve on it and welding it in place was the easiest thing.
So I'm wondering if I can swap parts from these two axles? I would like to pull all the brake components off and apply it to the axle under my Jeep now so I have matching shoes (saving me from buying 2 sets of shoes/drums.)
Both axles look to be Dana 25. How much of the axle is the same between these 2, I don't know and that's why I'm asking. If I find the kingpins are better on one than the other, can they be swapped as well? Axle shafts? Outer knuckles?
Thanks
Brad

The Dana 25 for the jeep line came in many different forms. Including ratios, hub styles, inner axle brands, brakes, steering arm attachments and more. To bless a hermaphroditing of your axles without a close hands on observation would not be wise on our part. You will need to very carefully locate and identify each differing part and determine it's impact on the other axle housing if used.

Thanks. I figured as much but thought it was worth a shot. I will try identifying the axle and parts before proceeding
