I received my carburetor, I am very happy, very good service and superb quality. I'm on the installation and everything is ok. I still have my primer pump. Is that it is preferable to join the system!
If so, I see that it is connected to the hose after a gas valve. But I do not see exactly where it is connected, gas valve at primer pump, primer pump to air intake vacuum!!
What is its function, distribute the gasoline at the carburetor, pull the vacuum for distribute the gasoline at the carburetor!!

I look at the book of Miller, I see the adapters, I see the diagram but I can not seem to identify exactly the hoses position...

The dash mounted primer pump withdraws fuel from a "T" inserted in the tank fuel supply line adjacent to the shut-off valve. It fills itself with fuel as you pull it out and then when you press it in it forces that fuel through the two intake manifold mounted injectors.

I am very happy, my M38 purrs perfectly. The carburetor was adjusted perfectly. I have installed and connected the hoses and start the jeep and everything was perfect. I hesitated for the new carburetor gasket, because he don `t have the small metal V but I haven` t notice any difference in the behavior of the engine. Now it runs like a new jeep.

John Midwest Military (http://www.midwestmilitary.net/). Made of very fine work.

Thanks!!!
