Brake Bleed Valve broken off wheel cylinder

Finally got the engine up and running on my M38A1 so I decided it was time to concentrate on the brakes. I was going to bleed the brake lines and went to go find the bleed valves. Well wouldn't you know it, I crawled under the jeep and the first wheel I look at had the valve broken off. There is a hole where it used to be and that's it. I looked through the bag of misc bolts and parts that I saved from cleaning out the jeep and it appears that I have the valve. There are no threads of any kind left. It looks like it was sheared off. Any ideas on what to do? Do I need to buy a new wheel cylinder or is it worth trying to tap it? Any help is apprecicated.
