Hal, I wonder if you could get a closer photo of the placement of the axe mounting at the sheath and foot step.
It seems that as I place my axe head in the sheath, the axe handle does not land on the step, but instead it is on the outside edge of it. I don't know what's going on with that.

Hi folks, thanks for the kind words. Ken, I will try and get a picture asap but will be traveling for a couple of days. At the moment, sounds as if your handle is too short so I will measure that for you also. Semper Fi Ben

Lobo, thanks for your approval. I will never forget your help when you went out on Thanksgiving Day(was it one or two years ago???) and got the measurements for the pioneer gear---it was sure a big help as I was stalled until I got it. Thanks again so much, Semper Fi Ben
