I've been trying to locate the torque value for the castellated main shaft nut and been finding figures varying from finger tight to 170 ft-lbs. This is he nut on the shaft from the T90 transmission that drives the D18 Transfer case.

Can anyone give me a definitive answer? Is there a good online source of torque values for the transmission, transfer case and other critical components?

See what I mean? One table calls for 80-110 the other for 145-155

At least I know that it isn't supposed to be finger tight.
